How Nigeria’s Minister Supports Terrorism

Minister of Communication & Digital Economy, Sheikh Isa Pantami

There are strong indications that a minister of the federal republic of Nigeria may have been a sponsor of a terrorist organization in Nigeria, Boko Haram, DODONDAWA.COM can exclusively report.

In November 2013, United States had designated Boko Haram and its offshoot Ansaru as ‘terrorist organizations, due to its crime against humanity in Sub-saharan Africa.

According to a credible source within the Intelligence Community, security agencies had listened to audio and video recordings of the recently appointed Minister of Communication and Digital Economy, Dr. (Sheikh) Isa Pantami, where and when he (allegedly) was encouraging his followers to kill the infidels and non-believers (Christians) and where he made declarations that Nigeria must become an Islamic State.

According to the source, Dr. Sheikh Isa Pantami, a renowned cleric, was appointed into the cabinet of President Muhammadu Buhari to further propagate the idea of Islamisation of Nigeria.

“The new Minister (Dr. Sheikh Isa Pantami) is not a politician but an Imam in an Abuja mosque where he preaches Islamic extremist views. His appointment sent a wrong signal to our gallant soldiers fighting Boko Haram and Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP). Infact, his appointment clearly showed that Nigeria is not ready to win the war against the insurgents.

“How the Christian soldiers would feel when they know that the man in charge of their call records and who can trace their location is a supporter of the enemy, it will surely kill their morale,” the source said.

When contacted, the spokesman of President Buhari, Mr. Femi Adesina, denied such recordings ever existed and claimed that the Department of State Security Service (DSS) does not have any evidence against the Minister because same agency cleared him for the ministerial position.

Buhari, who is a herder and the Grand Patron of Miyetti Allah (an association of Fulani herdsmen in Nigeria) was appointed by Boko Haram as one of its mediators to negotiate cease-fire with the federal government in November 2012.
