Sex scandal rocks Energia over alleged sexual relations between CEO, Assistant

Mr. Leste Aihevba, Managing Director/CEO of Energia Limited

As the world struggles to cope with the spate of rape cases and sexual misconducts, sexual exploitation at work places is also growing with no end in sight. The latest being the sex scandal that may bring one of the leading indigenous companies in Nigeria to its kneel.

Mr. Habeeb Olasunkanmi Rasaki, a husband of Ms. Braibi Horsfall, the Executive Assistant to the Managing Director/CEO of Enrgia, Mr. Leste Aihevba, alleged in a petition to the Chairman of the company, Mr. George Osahon, that there is an ongoing sexual relationship, which he tagged sexual exploitation between Ms. Horsfall and Mr. Leste Aihevba, Managing Director/CEO of Energia Limited.

According to the petition dated 8th May, 2020, and seen by DODONDAWA.COM, Mr. Razaq stated that: “I have recently become aware that Mr. Leste Aihevba is engaged in an immoral and sexual relationship with my wife, Ms. Braibi Horsfall, who is his Executive Assistant, despite the fact that they are both married. By virtue of this relationship, it would appear that Ms. Horsfall has enjoyed some benefits which she would not be ordinarily entitled to within Energia.

“Though, I have instituted Divorce Proceedings, processes of which are hereby attached for your information against them. I sincerely hope that this is not the corporate culture with Energia. Nonetheless, I ask that disciplinary actions are taken against the erring parties, failing which I would need to resort to the appropriate legal processes to seek further redress as I would not want such a culture shielded or covered up in a Nigerian company.”

Efforts to either speak with Mr. Ahievba or spokesman of Energia proved abortive as they refused to neither pick their calls nor respond to email request sent to the official email address of Energia Limited.

Besides, a source within the company confirmed to DODONDAWA.COM that the allegation is true and that the Board is looking into it.
